Nationals remain winless in spring

KISSIMMEE, Fla. (AP) — Scott Olsen pitched three solid innings and Ryan Zimmerman homered, but the Washington Nationals bullpen couldn't hold a four-run lead and they remained winless in the spring with an 8-7 loss to a Houston Astros split squad.

The Astros rallied with six runs in the sixth and seventh innings and minor leaguer Jack Shuck delivered the game-winning RBI single.

Olsen allowed one run on four hits over three innings and didn't allow a walk for the second straight start as he works his way back from last seasons shoulder surgery.

Zimmerman hit his second homer of the spring off Houston starter Bud Norris in the third inning and had three hits and two runs scored. Washington prospect Ian Desmond was 2 for 4 and is hitting .476 this spring.
