LAKELAND, Fla. (AP) — Curtis Granderson, playing against Detroit for the first time since being traded to New York, singled in his first two at-bats, and Greg Golson hit a two-run home run in the ninth inning to lift the Yankees to a 9-8 win over the Tigers on Wednesday.
Granderson also made a spectacular one-handed catch against the center-field wall.

Chamberlain gave up five hits, three walks and six runs in 2 1-3 innings.
