ATLANTA (Reuters) - Amateurs An Byeong-hun of South Korea and Matteo Manassero of Italy were among 16 first-time participants for this year's Masters announced in a field of 91 by organizers on Friday.
Also set to make their Masters debuts from April 8-11 are Britons Simon Dyson and Chris Wood, Japan's Yuta Ikeda and Australians Michael Sim and Marc Leishman, the 2009 PGA Tour rookie of the year.
"We look forward to welcoming the world's best golfers to Augusta for the 74th time," Billy Payne, chairman of Augusta National Golf Club, said in a statement.
"The course is in excellent condition and the tournament field is comprised of competitors with tremendous talent. We anticipate another exciting tournament for our patrons and golf fans around the world to enjoy."
