Faith and Support for the Troops

Faith, an eight-year old Labrador-Chow mix that walks on her two-hind legs, has inspired many Americans, including those wounded in combat. Now Faith is taking her inspirational tale -- and tail -- overseas to support British troops injured in Afghanistan.

Faith the Dog

Despite being born with deformities that left her with the use of only her two hind legs, Faith has led a happy and healthy life while serving as an inspirational dog to those that meet her.

Faith Goes for a Walk

After inspiring disabled American veterans to overcome their war zone injuries, the plan is for Faith to "march" on her two hind legs to boost the morale of British troops.

Faith as a Puppy

Faith was born just before Christmas in 2002 that left her with only two useable legs. She was rescued at a month old by the Stringfellows after the pup was abused and rejected by her mother.

Faith as a Puppy

Faith had one of her deformed front legs amputated when she was seven-months old. The leg was upside down and had more toes on it than normal. But that did not stop owner Jude Stringfellow who carried the dog before the pup learned to walk.

Faith & Jude

Veterinarians wanted to put Faith down. But owner Jude Stringfellow refused and taught Faith how to walk upright by offering her peanut butter on a spoon.

Faith with the Troops

Faith has traveled the country to inspire people but her primary audience has been American troops. Now the plan is to have Faith visit British troops who have been injured in Afghanistan.

Faith Entertains a Crowd

Never afraid of being the center of attention, Faith is not camera shy.  She's also been on the Oprah Winfrey Show and traveled with Ozzy Osbourne.

Faith Enjoys a Petting

Like any other dog, Faith enjoys a good rubdown every now and then.

Present Arms

Faith enjoys a cuddle from a military servicemen and fan.

Faith in the Classroom

Faith is a class clown, entertaining students.

Faith with a Friend

Faith gets a kiss and a sniff from another dog --who doesn't bat an eye at Faith's strange walk.

Faith and Buble

Who says cats and dogs can't get along? Faith and the Stringfellow's rescued kitten Buble were seen here cozying up on a bed.

Faith with Michael Bolton

While stuck for six hours in a Dallas airport on her way to make a visit to some troops, Faith was hounded by a few celebrities like singer Michael Bolton seen here. But Faith's biggest celeb fan is probably crooner Rick Springfield who reportedly yelled like a little girl upon seeing her.

Faith with Michael Irvin

Among one of the celebrities Faith has encountered through her travels is Dallas Cowboys Hall-of-Fame wide receiver, Michael Irvin. While they won't be able to play a game of fetch, Irvin and Faith both enjoy meeting military members.

Faith with Wayne Coyne

No matter where she is, Faith is the center of attention — even in the presence of rock stars such as Wayne Coyne, the lead singer and guitarist for The Flaming Lips seen on the right with his wife Michelle.

Doors Wide Open

Serving as an inspiration to the countless number of people she comes across, Faith shows that with a little persistence - and yes, faith - doors open.
