    Pistol-Packing Pastor Resigns

Pastor Ken Pagano of New Bethel Church in Lousiville, Kentucky, resigned on Oct. 7 to promote gun rights and church security. Pagano made national headlines earlier this year when he hosted an "Open Carry Celebration" at the church. About 200 people, many of them carrying holstered firearms, attended the event on June 27. Pagano joined with New York rabbi Gary Moskowitz to form the International Security Coalition of Clergy, and the two plan to tour Israel next year to learn security techniques.
