Unique chocolates for Valentines Day

You're sweetie may be getting a little bored with that same old box of chocolates.  But we think you may want to think twice about surprising your special someone with these off-the-wall and sometime creepy treats. 

Chocolate Shooter: $50

Belgian chocolatier Dominique Persoone originally created for a Rolling Stone party and has never looked back. Chocoholics can enjoy the buzz in their own homes. Take a pinch of the specially made cocoa powder, which is mixed with mint and ginger or raspberry, load it into the Chocolate Shooter, and take a hit.

ChocoVivo's Chocolate "Mylk" Flight: $15

A Culver City, Calif. shop, called ChocoVivo, lets you drink your chocolate.  Its "mylk" flight is made from stone-ground chocolate sourced in Mexico and comes in shot glasses.  It comes in three non-alcoholic flavors and a fourth that has a shot of Chambord and strawberries. The drinks are made with hazelnut milk rather than dairy and coconut sugar or honey in place of refined sugar.

Chocolate Tool Set, $30

If you screwed up your Valentine’s Day last year, here’s just the thing that may get it working again. This set of tools called "Automania Set" made by the Japanese chocolatier, Frantz is 100 percent Belgian chocolate and comes with nuts, bolts, screws, pliers and a wrench. Time to work on your DIY project.

Chocolate Manicure Set, $13.50 

Here’s one to chew on. This six-piece chocolate manicure set from ArtFire is perfect for when, say, you're clipping your nails. It comes with a nail file, nail buffer, artificial fingernails, adhesive, cuticle scissors, and nail clippers. 

Human Heart, $22.95 

This one is not for the faint of heart. This anatomically correct human heart made of solid milk or dark chocolate is great for a funeral director, or cardiologist. According to its seller, PushingUpDaisies.com, it comes in milk or dark chocolate in two sizes: the 10 ounces, or the 1 pound. That’ll get her blood pumping.

Someone can really get a kick out of this. This solid chocolate foot from ToeFood, is over one pound of yummy chocolate. Even if you don’t have a date for Valentines Day, it can still give you an opportunity to suck on some toes.
