This customer is biting into Oklahoma Joe’s most popular sandwich, the Z-Man, made with a stack of thin-sliced, juicy brisket smoked for 15-17 hours before serving, topped off with smoked provolone cheese, two crispy onion rings, and Oklahoma Joe’s signature barbecue sauce, all inside a warmly toasted Kaiser roll.

This local legend sells by the hundreds on game days and weekend nights. For more than 15 years, Chicken-on-a-stick has been drawing huge crowds to this Chevron station in Oxford, Miss.

Don’t let the picture fool you, this is not your typical gas station food. Security personnel are brought in on some game days to help with crowd control, as crowds wait in lines wrapping through store and around the building for up to 45 minutes just to get their hands on the legendary Chicken-on-a-stick.
