These chunky babies look a lot older than newborns!

New Biggest Baby

A three-day-old baby boy weighing 8.7 kilograms (left) lies next to an average size newborn baby at a hospital in Kisaran, North Sumatra, on Thursday. A woman gave birth to the 62-centimeter-long unnamed baby boy by Caesarean section on Sept. 21. He is the heaviest newborn ever recorded in the country, a doctor said.

Jan. 18, 2005: A 16.7-pound baby boy is seen at the Albert Sabin Maternity Hospital in Salvador, 900 miles northeast of Sao Paulo, in the state of Bahia. Francisca Ramos dos Santos, 38, gave birth to the healthy boy named Ademilton. He was the largest baby born at the Albert Sabin Maternity Hospital in its 12-year history, the hospital said. "Obviously the baby was born by Caesarean section," hospital director Rita Leal said. "Both mother and baby are doing just fine."

Brittany Deen gave birth to triplet boys in Sacramento, Calif., and together, the boys weighed more than 20 pounds.

 

The Deen babies weighed 5 pounds, 5 ounces; 7 pounds, 3 ounces and 7 pounds, 8 ounces.
