" Tonight -- are hater or something in between but no one and we mean no one can stop talking about her. Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin -- back in the headlines. Front page Washington Post USA today best seller list and get -- her new book is even out yet the entire country is buzzing. Excerpts of the book are leaking out and as always with the governor people are taking sides just -- as -- matches -- with. She is the first woman ever to hold that office good evening governor. Good evening -- a -- you know. I'm very well governor why isn't an -- of the newspaper she is USA today -- something to her wrapped her book isn't even even -- isn't published yet. What isn't about -- governor that's got everybody talking whether they're for or against her in between."

" Well certainly controversy sells but I think what will be really interesting as that the book actually get some relief to me -- Get to read is -- figure out how Governor Palin is gonna channel all of this attention Newsday. Going to be to talk about policy issues that that are in play for the presidential election or does she just want. To set the record straight about some of the personal issues. That everyone else has had a chance to comin' --"

" Well this isn't intuition about so many journalists who served -- voters who may should make fun of on set at live yet they can't get enough of her -- newspaper they have the New York Times the Washington Post when that. Is that you know it's sort of funny like if -- so indifferent to -- they think she's just so off the radar -- why -- they themselves so willing to give her they have the front and center."

" Well I think there are all kinds but -- sad -- and Sarah Palin's story although. We'll have to read the book to see what she thinks that. -- but certainly as a society we're still really conflict did over the role of mothers of young children. Working and that played out. There were you know lots of stories of intrigue within the campaign and it true or not those things are always. Make for good press but you're -- I think it even -- and her harshest media -- critics. Don't wanna see her go away she is generating attention and that's an opportunity for her. You it's got."

" It's -- interests in her first choice for their first interview is Oprah Winfrey. Which of course Oprah's got a huge audience she's also -- has a book club but she also Bob came off the set last year. And campaign for now President Obama so that -- it to me it to me -- to see the dynamics there."

" Well a -- a huge female audience and many of the issues that divide people about Sarah Palin. Do you have gender overtones and so it is. A wonderful platform I think. At Barack Obama and even before that you know when Bill Clinton wet and latest -- at the Arsenio Hall Show we saw that these softer forms. Of media really do play a big role whether you're trying to sell books. Or if you're trying to position yourself for a future run for political office and what I'm. Hope hoping to figure out -- which of those two things the governor is focused on now."

" So is is that you're is that what you're looking for because that I know from -- though the question I have and I assume that debt and we hope this is going to be here the racquet away and we have a campaign to get her to appear here -- shows. But the question I have is no one -- hair to her venue -- I have. But very sweet of yeah I hope that both sides -- Hillary Clinton here too as well publicized the -- but I don't know if -- And thank you what but why did she quit and if she quit. You know is that the Annenberg political career -- convert that move into a position of strength and so that -- potential voters. Are satisfied."

" And I do think it. That -- quitting. Have played into some of the less attractive -- narratives about her. And they have worked I think against her in the short term politically but it certainly gives -- the opportunity. To make some money which is it very powerful and very important if you're gonna run for political office. And she obviously has a huge slap on the question I think you and I both have is. So -- what did she use that or is she positioning herself to weigh in on important public policy issues which I guarantee you'll get -- less. Media coverage and a lot less interest but. I think many people want to see or is she -- as she is completely entitled in justified in doing. Looking to leverage all of this attention to. Help her family and their lifestyle and -- it now wouldn't whatever direction it takes -- but I think there is an important issue to be addressed here that. Speak quitting of the governor's. Of her quitting -- From being governor certainly puts into major play you mean it's obvious she's not -- a policy making all right now but does she still wanna continue. To contribute in some -- those policy debate."

" But it did hit -- fast and as we watch this roll -- because. You know we've had the -- the last couple days of certain excerpts. You know not sure exactly how that happened but then journalists have their way some some don't keep their agreements on and some good books other -- but anyway."

" Out of the -- we interstate. First -- interview it is Oprah and then I think here would Sean Hannity and then Bill O'Reilly I think that's a schedule but that could be wrong and that -- Barbara Walters. But I -- be watching and governor thank you very much and good luck to you governor."
