" A CBS report was recently released saying that the president will soon send 40000. More troops to Afghanistan. That report was quickly denied by the White House's spokesman said quote. Reports that President Obama has made a decision about Afghanistan are absolutely false. He has not received final options for his consideration is not reviewed those options. -- his national security team and the is not made any decisions about resource is any reports to the contrary. Are completely untrue and come from on iTunes on foreign sources and quote. The White House is clearly playing politics with -- in an ever double troop deployment to the region but my next guest. Makes one of the strongest arguments I've read that our mission in Afghanistan is over and it's time to come home. Joining me now is Karen podcast -- author of a great article. Afford this with any more ease than president Lyndon Johnson could back in the mid sixties."
