'Long, Hard-Fought Campaign'

" And then governor Jon Corzine of the state of New Jersey has come to the microphones in his campaign headquarters. To concede defeat tonight to the Republican challenger Chris Chris -- Jon Corzine has been a 120. Million dollars and three statewide races tonight says good night."

" Have been cheering me on and given me courage and give me strength throughout this campaign and I love you and I thank you all very much for being here. Cowboys -- for the way."

" Ago I called mr. Christie and congratulated him on becoming new Jersey's next governor. I want you to know that. Chris was gracious in his response. And we will work hard. Together to make sure that the transition is smooth that we are able to do everything that serves the people of this great state. That's my responsibility. That's our responsibility. It's my administration's responsibility. And I know we'll look up to -- so thank you. A long hard. Fought campaign and for every one that put their heart and soul into it and I know so many of you here tonight did. And I could not be more grateful for everything that you've done. We've been everywhere you know that from the Delaware to the Jersey shore from. Bergen County to Cape May county and across from across -- it has been quite a journey. I -- I hope that you know. All of those people that men -- union halls and thank goodness for labor you have been terrific job."

" High schools and all those -- schools rebuilt senior senators. All the churches and synagogues and everywhere we've gone. It has been an incredible. Incredible journey together and I am grateful to all New Jersey and sort of made. We've had a we."

" A lot of time to talk with folks about jobs and education and health care. Economic security and new energy policy lots of things that are -- in the people's agenda. The wasn't always easy I know you all know that. But I'm telling you there's a bright future ahead for New Jersey if we stay focused on the things that matter in people's lives and I guarantee you. I'm gonna do that for the rest of my life working with all of you for the things that matter."

" Hitter. For the great day. This is. Is that there's a moment where there is some. Little sadness I must say but I must tell you I have never been more honored. Then I have been to have a chance to serve as -- United States senator from this great state for this great people that live in this. Community called New Jersey. And to be the governor of this great state has been a joy that I could never ever have imagined it has been a tough time. But it has been one where we're making a difference in people's lives I'm proud -- administration. And the people have worked so hard. But I want to emphasize which we talked about out on the campaign trail. That the ended the day elections are not about the people better running they are about the choices we make. The people have chosen tonight. That does not mean that the people in this room that Democrats in this room the Democrats across this state or across this country. Don't have an agenda that carry forward it is important that we fight for health care citizens."
