One Man's Trash...

" Well in these tough economic times schools across the country are seeing their budgets and their stats slashed. But one Ohio's superintendent is doing something unusual. To save taxpayers in his district hundreds of thousands of dollars."

My -- came from the ninth floor of the federal building downtown Cincinnati and they don't donated it to you when your computer come from. Left that was Department of Education they set an office down on prints and evidence since that and that's what we've got to promise come up. A snapshot of what the district looks like right now."

" Well I think it started years ago I grew up in southern Ohio on a small farm and a and a sawmill got to work ethic from my father -- memory and saying we can't sit back and wait for that next dollar you gotta -- make things happen it's so I took that work ethic to the school district in the you know they were looking the past eleven my first board meeting at ten and I said let's stretch the dollar and -- so we can do. And the federal aviation building in downtown -- Lankan was going to move fifty miles east so they put an email out to all non profits of about twenty pages long. And they said. Tell us what you need -- down we'll take everything with them. They called the next -- that is it's a joke on us and we'll take -- all on which of those cubicles out of there we put half -- district cannot. But the other have to use and we rented out to the accounted for office space that increase is abuzz about 80000."

" it's fantastic because everything you get for free you don't have to ask the taxpayers to pay for it but there are there have been I understand some bumps in the road. Tell me what happened when you showed up with a bunch of trucks down at the federal building to get a bunch of stuff."

" Well the security guards up front they get the memo so when we -- out of our vehicles we had the entire left lane blocked for a block and a half. We'll read several vehicles that they would get everything on ninth floor and when we get out we looked -- had to security -- run from both directions. Yelling one had a gun drawn pointed down towards the drama yelling open those botched drug to happen immediately and what are you doing here block in this highway yeah. Yeah well one of -- and several humorous stories that I could tell that the one's a little more humorous they have done that we don't have time to David maybe someday get on the general -- few of those stories."

" That's -- it doesn't -- occupational hazards -- what is so great is that you had save the taxpayers. In your districts tons of money because you have reuse and recycle all this what's the dollar figure."

" Well what we had a 900000 dollar care over the issue which is the largest carry over in fifteen years that we doesn't cut and lasted three years to -- pretty proud of having that. Not a 100000 dollar carry over and is that items that we got it's hard to keep track of the limelight as we would've been -- important by that we think we've got to end it. That new value price to three million dollars for the tens winds the last."
