He received terror training in Pakistan. Then he returned to North Carolina apparently intent eventually according to the government at least. Of waging holy war against Israel. And against American interests overseas. And coming as they did in the wake of other homegrown cases these arrests. Coming as they did in the wake about the cases like this guy Brian -- us out here. On Long Island they another Moslem con -- Who was captured fighting alongside al-Qaeda in Pakistan. The arrest in the -- case caused the current attorney general Eric Holder to say. Quote. That's one of the things that's particularly troubling the whole nation this whole nation. Radicalization. Americans leaving this country and going to different parts of the world and then coming back. All again in the aim of doing harm to the American people is -- great. If if indeed the government's case is true and I don't know and some of the cases they've been brought heretofore been troubling to me they seem a little sketchy this from the evidence seems stronger. But Boyd clearly could've easily. And melted into a crowded shopping mall. -- we protect ourselves against a radical American hiding among that some -- mass destruction."
