We are the only state with a negative tax rate we don't have an income sells the property tax statewide and yes we have a share of our oil resource revenue. Goes back to the people who own resources match and you went up higher ads as since you've been governor when you negotiate with the oil companies that that all went up so even bigger -- won't act -- tax system up there and we had a couple of lawmakers and up. A lot of governors said we didn't want all of the dollars infrastructure dollars at the school build roads and water systems sewer systems appropriate tools that government should provide private sector it. Just growing government. We didn't want to accept on the -- so. Lawmakers -- around the nation many bodies legislatures decided to resolve this money anyway going around the -- we thought lot of -- that your little bit of a battle to even with a stable world. The acceptance of the stimulus dollars and you've actually made a point last week. Those strings and I told you about a real. All their help yet so pat what's the status of that and right why I'd be -- a -- of the money not a lot we did except education dollars and infrastructure dollars but. Dollars or -- to universal. Them telling us what's best for businesses and our residents how to build them and and were all for energy conservation we have hundreds of millions of dollars in fact budgeted for programs there but. OK maybe a good way of expressing articulating that message of here is what. America could potentially become if we grow government to such a degree that we cannot pay for -- we have to borrow money. It is this even more than you thought it was going to be in terms of where the president would take the economy. What what's more than I thought would be -- a lot of good rhetoric a lot of this is wrapped in good rhetoric but we're not seen those actions -- this many months into the new administration quite disappoint. We're frustrated with. Not seen actions to rein in spending slowdown in growth in government. Has the complete opposite it's it's expanding at such a large degree that. If Americans are paying attention unfortunately our country. Evolves into something that we do not even recognize certainly that is so far from. What the founders of our country like -- well that is -- that is and we have to be blunt enough and he handed and honest with. Americans to let them know if we keep going down these roads nationalize -- many of our our services our projects at our businesses. Yes that is where we would add and that's why America after he. " The price oil's going up again it's not quite -- a 140 dollars a barrel but it certainly you know honestly have to stand in eighty well I think that is not -- 440 you know people -- Alaska 85% of your state budget is based on the price of the barrel of oil aren't you glad prices want to. The few dollars -- the state of Alaska government asked the fewer dollars we spent an and that's good for our families and for the private sector. But the dollars that we haven't of course we have to be prudent and wise went. No the price of the barrel oil is going up here is. Greater demand for natural gas it is increasingly have to tap the source well. Reserves and we're on target to do that in in about a week we have some really good XE news that we get to give the rest of America on how it isn't going to build that infrastructure the private sector."
