That was like being hit by a Mack truck once you have nothing to do with -- out of fashion that it would begin that you would became the target it was like you were visible face and -- a celebrity so they. When after you I you know we discovered an Indian there's a reason for everything. I discovered in the process even though the accusations about me were not true they I did discover that they do that sweat -- do exist now where there is greed and there is human needs. They're they're gonna somebody's gonna take advantage of somebody's cell. It was -- run -- like you know so many people did when you're gonna get caught up in that door beats real figure in a position to actually do some good. That doesn't mean I was thrilled about it I was and it was very. Very devastating. But the same time we pass behind could fill in Albany which makes it possible complexion -- makes it possible for somebody -- discover and what a sweat shop anywhere in the income middle America. They -- federal government can go in and confiscate everything that's in that sweat -- it. And pay the people -- actually laboring. The trouble is it's a -- out it was illegal immigration nobody's going to be working in those places unless they are here illegally. So we discovered all of that. It does some good to great."

" I I just finished opening -- Broadway -- about a Broadway run that changed my life doing the Sondheim show. Then that I was asked to do the Letterman show and I sang a song -- the first song I ever written called you sell and was all about going through tabloid hell. And with my friend David Freeman who wrote the music to it and after I got three X three times -- they had to stop -- because of the audience like crazy. And it's like a voice inside my head said to know what -- a mental picture this is the moment your life changed I. Went to commercial and I said I'm gonna tell -- now that it's time it's time for -- ago. My father was also dying then -- never said it publicly I wanted to be freed up. From national television so that I could be with my mom and my sister who were the ones mainly taken care my daddy he talked about him so power only in the book yeah."

" It it was a very very. Obvious part of the book you can see your soul coming out of just that still love you had for your father. And those last times that you had with him."

" I just found. May -- it -- it easier for me someone like me to understand heavenly father's -- then. Because I had a physical father's love that was so extraordinary. I feel so for people who struggle kind understand the concept of a loving kind. When you read their life stories they had they never were -- either currently on yourself it's much harder I think for people to -- That kind of an experience in life to understand. How heavenly father can even love it even fool are you that our earthly father does this one thing I'm pretty sure --"
