" Looking. Our viewers as you're speaking to me. Are looking at pictures view we just saw your -- and now we see here. Incredible watch words washboard stomach you and I have not met. In person yet but I very much look forward. Two -- we can maybe when he could be here in New York and engage with us for the full power of the show are you surprised. At the number of young people. That are so. Active and and willing to be combative. For their liberties mean it wasn't too long ago when young people were complacent and just sort of expecting their jobs to be handed to them. But it is a generation even younger than you certainly younger than high. That are really the backbone of this."

" Yes it's it's very refreshing and you're exactly right we saw that the rumpled and all the people got involved and then once again I mean. Reality. And with the young people they've been told certain things about America about the country and then the reality isn't quite the thing especially look at things like. And some of -- ability of social security and and Medicare. Those things are coming to the debt. A burden on these kids and let's face it coming. You know we talk a lot about people being dumb down that the true I think people are smarter than given credit for it. Explain to them in the way that they understand and the young people are thirsting for knowledge. And their thirsting for new and different place though yeah away it is surprising but the way it's not."

" Speaking of young people our resident young person. Shelley roach who deals with -- all of these two weeks that we get. During the -- seated next to me and we'll jump in on the conversation I'm sure that at some of the young folks and tweak. With you have some questions for Padilla for --"

" Sir David you. Here's one from bird in flight saying kaine is in an amazing position have a positive influence on -- you I love your letter to attack north how do you. How do you. Certain conversations with some of your fans and the people that follow you to kind of get some of these concepts out there."

" It would become a little easier now and people were -- And I have to initiate conversations. It's hard of course almost impossible to talk with total stranger but. You know people little bit. You can understand what makes it of course and if you can pick an area. That they're not pleased with what the government's doing. And then get the way to welcome possibly themselves. That area you can sort of expand dumping --"

" Like in the in the wrestling community I mean do you discuss. I happen to believe -- that everybody everybody is a libertarian everybody wants to be able to do their own thing. And essentially wants to be left alone. People in the government and out libertarians because freedom is an obstacle to that challenges them questions that. It looks for transparency makes them justify their behavior but all the people do it professional wrestlers. Colleagues managers. Fans. What -- fine people like most thirsty for."

" Well from our standpoint. We are not subject to withholding tax we have our own literally come. So unlike most folks. We look you know how much chunk that takes on upper income. So a lot of the guys. And politics. For that very reason. And that in general. The thing that people -- most worried about it is. And the unbelievable. Spending spree that Washington has been on since the end of the Bush Administration. I think that -- bothers people so."

" Yeah any questions -- tweaks here can quite a few. It hit the debt from today -- Could you adopt new person in the that we permit liberty and freedom."

" So that the -- I don't know."

" Okay. Okay we can't count from by way. What's the -- that are decorated. -- and show anymore questions."

" Well yeah Vietnamese it is it is has been an Austrian economics in general. Has been huge phone me. Also. I think that the Internet now it is it is just -- on information repository. Information subject. Couple of the book book that I recommend. Browns like government doesn't work com. And also of course you have. The system. Though they'll also -- from all sorts of different people about different things. For example doesn't O'Connell has. The nation's natural law and crucial principles that are. Supposed to protect our natural right which cannot. In to -- by government which are endowed. By our creator. Or. A feature of our nature is human beings so up. It's many many periods and different solutions."

" You discuss Austrian economics. With other pro wrestlers because I would like to be a fly on the wall for those conversations. Yeah."

" Think be it in economics is that. -- And that's and did that economics is about numbers and it's not the only problem with that at least in the human component completely out of the equation. And economic is is that the human action and that this study of relief cause in the fact that we're not sure what the factionalism. People do about it -- it's not. You know it's not."

" Equation. Soul and it's available fine so you are able to do."

" People and explain things in ways that they understand and you know all of that light bulb go off because of course that's the way things work that's the way the world works."

" Are you. As distressed as I am at the first 125. Days of the Obama administration. In which following the Bush Administration and its utter disregard. For the natural law and constitutionally protected rights it has destroyed freedom of contract. Basically destroyed shareholder rights. Basically said to bondholders and shareholders and corporation you're gonna take -- you're gonna take that said two shareholders you can't have. For example General Motors Rick Wagoner chairman we're gonna fire. Did you think you would see that day still in your youth. When we would be approaching this system. I'll call but it is fascism. Which is private ownership but government control."

" Well that's exactly what it is and that is very disturbing. The fact that central planners believe that they can. -- And it's not a market failure that. You know some -- would say that -- succeed mark failed the market that -- the market -- problems because the government intervened so much in the mark could operate freely. But you know from our constitutional perspective can judge. Every day when early and they. Obama wants this Obama promises that Obama says that the if you read the constitution. They're all legislative powers. Shall be vested congress. And now it -- to the point where. I think politically the congress to. Superior body the president and these -- course -- be in your body as it checks on the power of congress. The point where. We have we'll look upon me that would call. Omni -- government. You know the president can virtually. Anything that he wants complain that he wants he's making law and -- we'll do that of course pres Obama wasn't the first one he called a precedent. And that's for him but by the same token it that it -- show."

" When you very eloquence and your very powerful. And you understand and explain this stuff so nicely I really appreciate you coming. Would you promised me that the next time you're appearing anywhere around New York City you'll come visit us on freedom watch."

" I will certainly drive what you guys are doing is that tremendous service and -- Sincerely. -- make it different."

" And painted it sounds very much state where we'll be watching for."

Iron man who has become sort of one of that spokespeople Bredesen a whole story emerged renown as the mayor of Lansing Michigan. And John fund of course is a -- journal columnist welcome. I have to book the -- you know -- it that I can't help but -- you know where -- now some indication that they might consider prepackaged bankruptcy . Although the company today is saying no no we still don't want to go into bankruptcy and my question is not I mean look at these numbers okay. -- big part of thirteen billion from the government but you know how much if you bought every single share of General Motors today. It would only cost you one point three billion dollars. And now they want another. Sixteen billion more some just asking
General Motors hitting their lowest point. In 75. Years today and GM is not just yet to -- they've already got. Fourteen billion dollars from American taxpayers. In federal loans with sales plummeting more than 53% just last month and keep in mind -- lost thirty. Billion dollars last year in a way. So the company's auditors have been looking at the bucks they say they're not sure that GM will be able to avoid bankruptcy . Back in December CEO Rick Wagoner talked about the connection between sales and bankruptcy . --
my father's family is from Michigan my uncle Paul fund work for General Motors for over thirty years he's not retired. I care about the devastation that's happened in Michigan but let's be clear. Airline companies have gone bankrupt for over generation in this country Continental Airlines went bankrupt three times. Thousands of people laid out of work that's of the company that -- flew real people huge. And visits with real relatives they went out of bankruptcy did that mean they stopped producing. Airlines now it meant that they went into reorganization. They cleaned up their pension and other obligations and the emerge stronger than ever. Car companies are important to America but. I'm not going to say airline companies are less important if airline companies can go through bankruptcy . And come back stronger than ever and start rehiring people and reorganizing. I don't see why car companies that apparently don't have
I had -- may I finish. My uncle. Who worked for General Motors for over thirty years says the management of the company needs to be flushed out the only way to really flesh out the management. Is not to give them more money from the taxpayers. It's to have a bankruptcy judge appoint new management just as they appointed new management with airline companies. And by the way with almost every other industry in this country which also goes through bankruptcy . And still continues to produce product since the open and I used to employ people -- my uncle I tell you that the only way. The only way to do this if you get the management out which won't be gotten out if you have more taxpayer bailouts. Is to go through bankruptcy .

complicated. All right I'm glad we could end up a good note Bob Lutz vice chairman of General Motors thank you for sharing your time that's that.
We all got our fingers crossed Bob -- is vice chairman of General Motors to join us right now from GM headquarters in Detroit. Bob. Do you think this fifteen billion dollars will be just with a back door for General Motors . Well.
is the weakest market we've seen since World War II. Not just General Motors everybody. But we have a very very severe short term liquidity crunch and aren't sure that fifty billion should it come to
charge there Gettelfinger says. Well we may ask for a seat on General Motors board of directors in exchange for contract concessions. Which you okay with our --
thing straight here you know there's a lot of talk about. Well General Motors doesn't make the right kind of cars and or General Motors built truck who want. At a dollar fifty a gallon. The American public. Once sport utilities and large pickup trucks if you
