Triumphant Tea Parties

" Tonight thousands of people from -- took to the streets for the tea party protest and the story it is far from over the question now. Is this the beginning of a new era a grassroots conservative explosion or -- passing fancy just a -- John -- goes on the record a moment but first the numbers. Estimates that in Atlanta as many -- 20000 people took -- the streets in Washington State more than 5000. In Phoenix Arizona more than 5000. In San Antonio. Between four and 5000. In Lansing Michigan between three and 4000 and that is just the tip of the iceberg. Today one -- of people are still talking about the tea parties the big question is -- conservative grassroots explosion erupted. Rush Limbaugh is -- in this and he has some very tough words of President Obama and critics of the tea party protest."

" Do you remember folks -- inspiring new people who political process was grand and glorious thing. In fact that's what we were told the Obama campaign and was all about. President Obama was -- as a candidate. Biggest people who would never cared about politics reformer now interest and they wanted to unify the country they wanted -- all get along -- freedom and politically active it was a sign of a healthy body politic. And of course it was wonderful because it was a Democrat president doing it. And he was double wonderful because it was an African American candidate doing -- this fits so many templates of the drive by media -- the American left to the people yesterday the tea parties not caught up -- personalities they were they -- because of issues and there were young people there and there were people. From all walks of life. And they aren't terribly concerned about what they see going on to their country but since it wasn't anything to do positively with the Obama he had had to be impugned the people had to be -- characterized. And and have been criticized. Him their reputations destroyed and so forth they're very identities. The -- You know the the -- as far as the media's conservative Democrat party. Since they're not caught up in personality since they're not part of a cult since they're not -- they're now going down to Obama there extremists. In the eyes of -- and Apollo O'Connell and others -- the Department of Homeland Security -- caught up. In adult issues these people -- the tea parties were caught up an adult issues like you're responsible spending. Self defeating bailouts higher taxes that are going to follow all of this."

It was an inspiring day for me and I and I mean that sincerely I feel as energized as motivated as -- inspired does that ever -- You know you're asking me the other night minutes that I could look -- my crystal ball well now we know how many people showed up but it was over 20000 people Greta and it was it was unbelievable I thought the sea of people would actually never. You know and I mean. We at a stage. We -- of the longest blocks on either side and people went down there and then down and wrapped around I mean it was it was incredible and the other thing credit that really just stood out to me -- who who the what the people that showed up -- were young they were old they were children there were people of all backgrounds. That the people the told me they -- Democrat liberal libertarian. And they were all they -- because one reason they think Americans heading in the wrong direction they feel strongly about it. That will steal it from our kids our grandkids. And they don't want to put this massive data on them they're tired of the -- at -- taxation they feel government -- out of touch. And it doesn't hear them nor understand them so it was a pretty inspiring day for me. Do you."

You know there -- a lot of people that turned out yesterday but the question is is this serving up passing fancy whether this truly is a movement and plans -- keep that going."

There is no family in America that if you find yourself an economic trouble like this that you would spend more money. That you would accumulate more debt I think that that was the right answer so I suspect that we're gonna see a lot more the."

It's a democratic house a democratic senate and Snead may have to may have made -- dead yet changes in the last. Look at the credit every buddy wants the economy to do well and -- discussed this in some detail the other night and that is. You know what is our vision for America this is not about limited government and more government and our lives. This it we've -- come a long way from Bill Clinton the end of welfare as we know at the end of the Arab -- big government -- over. This is now a fundamental debate about socialism and capitalism. And but the fact of the matter is that people that you see there the twenty plus thousand that showed up in Atlanta last night. They are the people that work really hard every day they're the ones that pay all the taxes. They're the ones that care about future generations they played by the rules they pay their taxes they Obey the laws and now they're being called. You don't unpatriotic by Joe Biden when he says Welch -- out of duty. You don't have a president that say we're arrogant as he travels around the globe and -- he bows before the Saudi king. And there is real reluctance some resentment building because about 50% of the tax base is not -- a single penny of taxes. And so they're saying you don't want. Our voices are gonna be loud they're gonna be united and they obviously had a big impact yesterday."

" Whether -- the -- a certain interest in -- ceased serving the people who didn't turn out if they're gonna certain videotape got those very issues from the other perspective but death.
