On April 24, 1990, NASA launched the Hubble Space Telescope. The telescope rocketed into space aboard the shuttle Discovery, and now after 25 years of giving people a glimpse at some of the farthest reaches of outer space, Hubble has been honored by NASA with a week-long celebration.
