Whether you are hosting a backyard barbeque, poolside get together or any summer soiree, Jung Lee’s Watermelon Wine Spritz is a delicious and refreshing cocktail perfect for pleasing any crowd this Independence Day. Simple to make and delicious to drink, the Watermelon Wine Spritz is made by combining the Clos du Bois 2013 California Chardonnay with watermelon juice, mint and club soda. With juicy flavors of ripe apple and pear, the Clos du Bois California Chardonnay is excellent on its own or mixed together with fresh ingredients.


  • Clos du Bois Chardonnay (chilled)
  • 2 cups sweet and seedless watermelon (chilled)
  • 1 tablespoon simple syrup
  • Club soda
  • Mint


Step 1:

Combine watermelon chunks and simple syrup in a blender (I prefer to use my hands and mash because I like the chunks).

Step 2:

Pour the watermelon juice in a double rocks tumbler or wine glass, filled a quarter way. Add ice cubes. Fill the rest of the glass with Clos du Bois Chardonnay. Top off with a splash of club soda and garnish with mint.
