What better way to kick off a summertime brunch than with a cool jug of your favorite sangria. This recipe for Watermellon Sangria, created by the folks at the trendy restaurant Valanni, in Philadelphia, Pa., is a great drink to serve to friends. Give yourself time to let it chill for the best tasting results.
Ingredients
- 2 bottles rose wine
- 1/4 Cup sugar
- 2 Oz. wild cherry brandy
- 3 Oz. watermelon pieces (cubed into 1 inch chunks)
Preparation
Step 1:
Blend in large container, and serve over ice in individual glasses garnished with a watermelon slice. Sangria can be stored in the refrigerator for three to four days.
