With the leaves falling and season changing, sit back and enjoy with this seasonal drink with just the right amount of spice.


  • 1 bottle VOGA Dolce Rosso
  • 1 Cup Brandy
  • 1 Medium orange, sliced
  • 1 Medium lemon, sliced
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1/2 teaspoon whole allspice
  • 1/2 teaspoon aniseed
  • 1/2 teaspoon whole peppercorns
  • 3 whole cloves
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 star anise


Step 1:

In a large saucepan, combine VOGA Dolce Rosso, brandy, orange, lemon, sugar and nutmeg

Step 2:

Place remaining spices on a double thickness of cheesecloth; bring up corners of cloth and tie with string to form a bag

Step 3:

Add spice bag to wine mixture

Step 4:

Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally

Step 5:

Reduce heat; cover and simmer gently for 20 minutes

Step 6:

Cool; cover and refrigerate overnight

Step 7:

Strain; discard fruit and spice bag

Step 8:

Reheat wine; serve warm in mugs

Step 9:

Garnish as desired with cinnamon stick and star anise
