This delicious spin on the classic Old-Fashioned was perfected by Crown Maple founder, Robb Turner, and featured in the New York Times.
- 1 Ounce Crown Maple Dark Color and Robust Taste Syrup
- 3-4 dashes Angostura bitters
- 2 Orange Wedges
- 2 Lemon Wedges
- 2 Ounce Maker’s Mark Bourbon
- Sparkling water
- Stemmed Maraschino Cherry
Pour the maple syrup into an old-fashioned glass. Saturate with bitters, then squeeze in juice from 1 orange wedge and 1 lemon wedge.
Add remaining wedges, press with a pestle, add bourbon and stir well. Add ice cubes, fill with sparkling water and stir again. Pour, and garnish with a cherry.
