There's nothing like summer's humidity to draw out the frozen drink lover in all of us. This tropical version of the classic mint julep is perfect for a hot day in the sun.


  • 3 Tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 Cup hot water
  • 2 Cup ice
  • 3 Kiwis, peeled
  • 2 Tablespoon frozen limeade
  • 3 Ounce bourbon


Step 1:

Dissolve sugar in hot water in a 1-cup measure; let cool slightly.

Step 2:

Combine ice, kiwis, limeade, mint, the sugar mixture and bourbon, if using, in a blender; blend until smooth.

Step 3:

Pour into tall glass and enjoy.
