Superstar sports couple Nomar Garciaparra and Mia Hamm just scored one more house in Manhattan Beach, CA, the Los Angeles Times reports. The price tag for this sweet slice of Southern California life? $2.2 million.
Built in 2004, the two-story home boasts 4,450 square feet of living space, five bedrooms, and five bathrooms. It features vaulted ceilings and a step-down living room with french doors that open to a balcony. The master suite comes with a fireplace to ward off any chill from the cool ocean breezes.
The house hit the market in January with a price tag of $2.6 million. Garciaparra and Hamm also own another property just a few blocks away.
Garciaparra, 42, a retired MLB shortstop and third baseman, played for the Boston Red Sox, Chicago Cubs, Los Angeles Dodgers, and the Oakland A's, making six All-Star teams during his career. He's now a baseball analyst for SportsNet LA.
Hamm, 44, is a soccer legend and won Olympic gold medals for Team USA in the 1996 and 2004 Summer Games. She's been named FIFA World Player of the Year twice and won two World Cup championships with the U.S. women's national team. The couple married in 2003 and have three children.
