That was quick! Former MLB center fielder Jim Edmonds and his spouse, "Real Housewives of Orange County" star Meghan King Edmonds, recently listed their home in Newport Beach, CA, for $3,399,000, just 13 short months after buying it for $2.8 million.
You could call it a flip, since the Edmonds, with a little help from the rest of the "RHOC" crew, completely remodeled the five-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom, Mediterranean Revival -- style home, which is located in upscale Newport Heights.
In one episode of "RHOC," the housewives were seen wielding a power saw, hammers, and an ax at a "demolition party" to remodel the Edmonds' kitchen. For once, it seemed liquor wasn't involved -- at least until they put away the power tools.
"We donated the granite from kitchen remodel to @Habitat_org! As well as fridge, micro, sinks, cabinets -- everything!" Meghan tweeted. She was referring to Habitat for Humanity.
Now the kitchen features a U-shaped island with a built-in breakfast nook, contrast cabinetry, slab quartz countertops, a farmhouse sink, a white subway tile backsplash, designer lighting, floating shelves, a wine fridge, and stainless-steel appliances. It has become the heart of the home.
Other luxurious aspects of the 5,077-square-foot house include french doors, hardwood floors, high ceilings, and designer lighting throughout. There's also a master suite with a spacious walk-in closet and a sliding reclaimed barn door, which opens to a master bathroom with a claw-foot tub, dual vanities, and an oversize marble shower.
But a new kitchen and master suite aren't the only additions the Edmonds have been working on. Throughout the latest season of "RHOC," Meghan spoke of undergoing fertility treatments. She recently announced that she and her husband are expecting a baby girl, due later this year around the holidays.
