There's nothing like exercise to get those endorphins pumping after a tough breakup. That's why we're so glad that singer Taylor Swift, who recently split from Scottish DJ Calvin Harris, rented a West Village pad complete with a lap pool. The cost for her tenancy is $40,000 per month, but we have no word on how much the pool boy charges.
TMZ says Swift is renting the place with the indoor pool during the renovation of her own Tribeca apartment, which she bought last year for $20 million from filmmaker Peter Jackson. The duplex purchased by the pop star features nine bedrooms, 8.5 bathrooms, and 2,000 square feet of terraces.
During the yearlong renovation process, Swift will hang her many hats at 23 Cornelia St., a four-story townhouse with five bedrooms and six bathrooms. The 4,357-square-foot property, built in 1899, also boasts a two-story patio and private garage.
Tay-Tay's real estate isn't the only Swift story in the news. The 26-year-old songstress has embarked on a new romance with actor Tom Hiddleston, 35. Hiddleston reportedly is just dying to be the new James Bond when actor Daniel Craig retires his martini glass.
