It looks like landlord wasn't the dream role for former reality TV star Jeana Keough. After putting her home in Coto de Caza, CA, up for rent last year, Keough recently sold the mansion for $3.4 million.

Keough, a Realtor herself who held the listing, was one of the original cast members of "The Real Housewives of Orange County," starring in five seasons and popping up as a guest in additional seasons of the wine-tossing Bravo staple. But even before casting, she was no stranger to the flash of the camera -- in November 1980, she was Playboy's Playmate of the Month.

With 8,000 square feet of space and eight bedrooms, the luxury home was "mostly empty these days" after her three children left home, Keough told us back in July.

"It was my home for 15 years, and it's painful to leave and downsize," she said this week.

But the French-style home is perfect for a growing family, with luxe dcor, stone finishes, and high box ceilings welcoming plenty of light. Brushed walls in rich velvet tones inspire dreams of royalty -- TV royalty, that is.

And if the new buyers feel the call toward the limelight, they'll be well-protected in the guard-gated community.

Chances are they won't even want to venture beyond its walls: Keough's semifamous backyard offers a spacious pool, built-in barbecue and grill, basketball court, and spa, the perfect setting for a wine-sipping gossip session.
