After signing on to be the new head coach of the Virginia Tech Hokies football team, Justin Fuente has put his Memphis, TN, house up for sale. The 39-year-old coach has listed his home for $779,000.
Built in 2008, the five-bedroom brick home is located just nine miles from Beale Street. Fuente bought the house for $742,000 in early 2012, around the same time he signed on to coach the Memphis Tigers.
The 4,815-square-foot home features "real nail-down oak" flooring and cherrywood cabinetry, listing agent Joel Hobson says. Other features include 10-foot ceilings, a playroom, two indoor fireplaces, and an outdoor fireplace in the covered porch.
The master bathroom is a standout with its circular spa tub adjacent to a walk-in shower and his-and-her vanities and walk-in closets on either side.
Fuente, a red-hot coaching candidate, nabbed the job in Blacksburg, VA, right at the conclusion of college football's regular season. He's coming off a successful four-year run with the Tigers, leading the team to bowl appearances over the past two seasons. His coaching acumen earned him a six-year contract beginning with a salary of $3.2 million in 2016 -- nearly $2 million more than he made in 2014.
