After splitting with wife of nearly 20 years, Gia Carides, actor Anthony LaPaglia placed the home they shared up for sale. After nearly two months on the market, the price of the property in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles was recently dropped by $1 million, making it a downright bargain at $10,995,000.

LaPaglia won a Golden Globe for his portrayal of FBI agent Jack Malone on the television show "Without a Trace," although viewers might better recognize him from his role as Joe in the film "Empire Records."

The home has serious curb appeal: A winding brick path leads through the verdant front lawn, passing under an enormous tree that is double the home's height.

Inside, expect Cape Cod details with modern touches, from the windowed white kitchen with butcher-block countertops and industrial lamps, to the concrete-floored gym that opens onto a patio.

And for the kiddies: Check out the hidden bedroom. It's tucked away in a closetlike area with a wood loft bed above a play area. It's perfect for concealing kids' mess without a trace.
