After a rough season, outfielder Nick Swisher is ready for a fresh start. Dealing with balky knees all year long, the former All-Star was traded from the Cleveland Indians to a struggling Atlanta Braves squad in the middle of the season. Between his two stops, he posted a measly 0.196 batting average.
With the 2015 season firmly in the rear-view mirror, the former World Series champ is now selling his condo in Scottsdale, AZ. Listed for $2,049,500, the three-bedroom, four-bathroom condo has an open floor plan and modern flair to spare.
The kitchen is sleek with stainless-steel appliances, flat black cabinets, and a gray backsplash. A kitchen bar topped with black granite adds to the appeal. The master bathroom has split his-and-her vanities, a soaking tub, and the same flat black cabinetry featured in the kitchen.
But the best part of this place might be the stunning views. A massive wraparound balcony overlooks the beauty of Arizona: desert plains, mountains, and endless sky.
Swisher has one year left on the four-year, $56 million megadeal he inked with the Indians before the 2013 season. Perhaps a quick sale of this lovely place will bode well for Swisher's on-field success in 2016.
