Legendary NFL wide receiver Randy Moss is tossing his Lincoln, RI, home to the sidelines for $749,000 -- a 40% reduction from the price he paid in 2008.

That's all right, though: The six-time Pro Bowler can afford to be thrown for a (relative) pittance of a loss if he decides to suit up and return to the NFL.

While that's looking ahead for him, let's look at what he's leaving behind. The 38-year-old athlete, whose incredible athleticism earned him the nickname of " The Freak," is selling a 3,846-square-foot contemporary home situated on 4 acres.

The three-bedroom, three-bathroom home includes hardwood flooring, built-in shelving, and lots of light. The master bathroom features two separate vanities, a walk-up hot tub, and a walk-in shower with rain showerhead.

The kitchen is traditional but elegant, with stainless-steel appliances, wood cabinets with glass doors, and yards of countertop space.

Outside, the property features a charming New England -- style gazebo and a covered bar next to a pool.

Moss isn't alone in making waves in the press. His son Thad was hailed as a breakout star of the Lincoln High School football team, so it looks like The Freak has some freakishly great genes. Perhaps father and son will play in the NFL together some day.
