New Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota is the nation's newest football obsession -- and his recent penthouse purchase is proof of his rise to stardom.
After his stellar experience as signal caller for the University of Oregon -- where the 21-year-old won the Heisman Trophy (among numerous other awards) -- the Titans made him the second overall pick in the 2015 NFL draft.
And the rocket-armed passer has already garnered a loyal following. His No. 8 Titans jersey sold more than any other player's in the league in May, including Tom Brady's.
His $1.05 million, 1,890-square-foot penthouse is located atop downtown Nashville's Gulch Condominiums, a luxury high-rise with floor-to-ceiling windows.
Mariota's two-bedroom condo features 15-foot ceilings, modern concrete accents, and a custom floor plan. The neutral-toned bathroom has a bit of whimsy with tiling that evokes zebra stripes -- but otherwise, the penthouse's design is serious, clean, and oh-so-luxurious.
It's a home fit for a newly minted king.
