Will the roller coaster never end for One Direction fans? After surviving the departure of the British boy band's Zayn Malik in March, millions of teen and tween girls were heartbroken to learn this week that Louis Tomlinson is even more unlikely to be theirs, as he's having a baby with another woman.
Actually, he and baby mama Briana Jungwirth are just friends, People reports, so maybe there is hope. The celeb site also confirms that Tomlinson is looking for a home in Los Angeles, near (not, apparently, with) Jungwirth so he can be a "hands-on dad." We don't know where Jungwirth, a stylist, lives (although apparently she's been driven from her home by the media frenzy), but we went ahead and pulled together a few suggestions for where Tomlinson can live -- with or without Jungwirth -- while their baby is young.
All the cool kids are on the Eastside these days, although the Los Feliz neighborhood is a little more family-friendly. These two homes look good for young people -- after all, Tomlinson and Jungwirth are just 23 -- who like to entertain and also be close to restaurants and nightlife.
Address: 2514 N. Commonwealth Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90027
Price: $2.5 million
With five bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms in 3,922 square feet, there's enough space for any kind of family living arrangements -- not to mention Tomlinson's relatives visiting from across the pond. This one will need lots of baby-proofing -- beware treacherous stairs and balconies -- but it's bright and has a great kidney-shaped pool.

Tomlinson might enjoy buying a piece of Hollywood history. This four-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom home was once owned by legendary filmmaker Cecil B. DeMille. Convenient for our young co-parents, there are two master bedrooms as well as a home audio system befitting a recording artist and great walk-in closets that a stylist would love. And the nicely contained backyard is perfect for baby.

Hollywood history and hipster hangouts are all well and good, but it's hard to argue against the beach -- and Venice has the laid-back charm that Southern California is known for. This stylish four-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom home on 3,326 square feet epitomizes indoor-outdoor living, with great light, ocean breezes, and a bungalow out back for visiting family. It's close to the shops, restaurants, and bars of Abbot Kinney Boulevard, as well as some really nice playgrounds.
