NBA forward Al-Farouq Aminu opted out of his contract with the Dallas Mavericks after just one season in the Big D.
Smart move! Aminu just signed a four-year, $30 million deal with the Portland Trail Blazers. And in the spirit of new beginnings, he's ready to play the role of landlord in Los Angeles.
The 6-foot-9 forward is renting out his home in Playa Vista, CA, for $6,000 a month.
Located in the prominent Capri Court II neighborhood, the three-story, three-bedroom home is more than your typical rental thanks to a private courtyard, travertine floors, plantation shutters, and California charm.
Exhibiting more baller style than renter style, the home features a large kitchen with granite countertops, an island, and stainless-steel appliances.
The third floor is a massive master suite with a spa tub, walk-in shower, walk-in closet, and a view.
After also being courted by the Boston Celtics and the New York Knicks, the Atlanta native will fight for a starting role in Rip City this fall.
