BRUSSELS, Belgium —
The European Union has published an updated blacklist of nuclear experts and companies in Iran being targeted under new sanctions.The blacklist, published Tuesday, includes 15 new people and 20 companies that the European Union says are linked to Iran's nuclear program.
On Monday, the EU approved an assets freeze on Iran's largest bank, Bank of Melli. The EU says the bank provided or attempted to give financial backing to companies involved in procuring goods for Iran's nuclear and missile programs.
