Michael Tobin is a Jerusalem-based correspondent. He joined FOX News Channel (FNC) as a Dallas-based correspondent after serving as general reporter and substitute anchor for the FOX affiliate WSVN-TV in Miami, Florida.

Most recently, Tobin provided on-site coverage from the Israeli-Lebanese border during the conflict in the Middle East. He also covered Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon’s hospitalization in Jerusalem, the evacuation of Jewish settlements from the Gaza Strip, the Iraqi elections in Baghdad and Operation Iraqi Freedom from Centcom in Doha, Qatar.

Before he joined WSVN, Tobin worked at WSAZ-TV (NBC) in Huntington, West Virginia, where he was a general assignment reporter and anchor for the station's Saturday morning news program. He began his career as a reporter and anchor/producer for the weekend programs at WMDT-TV (ABC) in Salisbury, Maryland.

Tobin has received several local Associated Press Awards for news reporting and is a graduate of Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Telecommunications.
