    Military Hero: Sgt. 1st Class Leroy Petry

    Army Sgt. 1st Class Leroy Petry received the Medal of Honor in a ceremony July 12 at the White House. Petry, the second living veteran of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan to receive this honor, lost his hand while throwing a grenade back at attackers in order to save his two companions and himself.
