    Barack Hussein Obama II is the 44th and current President of the United States. While in law school, Barack Obama became the first African American president of the Harvard Law Review and went on to teach constitutional law at the University of Chicago before being elected to the Illinois State Senate in 1996. While serving as the Senator of Illinois, Obama passed the first major ethics reform in 25 years, cut taxes for working families, and expanded health care for children and their parents. He was then elected to the U.S. State Senate in 2004 and elected President of the Unites States in 2009. He lives in the White House with his wife, Michelle, and two daughters.
