Volunteers for an Ohio-based grassroots organization have been casting early ballots in Ohio despite living in other states, according to an investigation by Palestra, a Web video-based college news network.
At least 12 members of the group, Vote From Home, have registered to vote in Ohio, and two have cast ballots, including one from Scarsdale, N.Y.
Oxford University graduate students started the group to capitalize on Ohio's new early voting law and they have been registering homeless people to help fulfill their mission.
