John McCain plans to release 400 pages of medical records on Friday, dating from 2000 to the present.
McCain is expected to again be given a clean bill of health, sources told FOX News.
In March, the campaign put out a lengthy summary of the presumptive Republican nominee's medical records. They noted that his heart is in great shape, his blood pressure is good and his cholesterol level is controlled through Vytorin.
Expected in the comprehensive records is a great deal of documentation from the Mayo Clinic about the Arizona senator's bouts with melanoma. He has had no recurrence of the disease since his 2002 surgery.
In 1999 the campaign put out all the documentation of his medical history to that point, which included military medical records. At the time, military doctors had written they were amazed at how normal McCain seemed after everything he had endured, including spending five and a half years as a prisoner of war in Vietnam.
At the time, the documents largely shut down talk that McCain was somehow psychologically unfit to be president.
