Barack Obama's downtown Indianapolis campaign office was vandalized Friday night when somebody threw a barricade through the front glass window, WXIN-TV in Indianapolis reports.
Police later arrested a 32-year-old man identified as Robert Bailey for criminal mischief after he admitted to pushing the orange barricade through the window, according to the police report.
"I did it. I threw the barricade through the window! Take me to jail!" he told police shortly after they arrived on scene, the report said.
He reportedly told police he dragged the barricade down the block in order to throw it into Obama's campaign office, but that he would have done so "even if it was Hillary Clinton's offices."
"It's not about race -- it's about selling out," he told police, according to the report.
He also said, "John Lennon would be proud of me."
It's not clear what Bailey was referring to.
A representative of the building owner told police the damage would probably be at least $2,500.
