Barack Obama may be running against Hillary Clinton for the Democratic presidential nomination, but he defeated the Clintons in one other race Sunday, topping former President Bill Clinton for the Grammy for Best Spoken Word Album for the audio version of his book, "The Audacity of Hope; Thoughts on Reclaiming the American Dream."
President Clinton had been nominated for his book, "Giving: How Each of Us Can Change the World." Also nominated was former President Jimmy Carter for "Sunday Mornings in Plains."
Though the Grammy went to Obama this year, both Clintons are past winners of the award. Hillary Clinton won in 1997 for her book of the previous year, entitled "It Takes a Village."
This is Obama's second Grammy. He also won in 2006 for "Dreams From My Father," an audio book for a memoir first published in 1995.
