Even the head of the Kansas Democratic Party Dan Lykins -- who is a supporter of Sen. Hillary Clinton -- thinks Sen. Barack Obama's recent visit to the state and his endorsement by the governor has given him an edge in today's Democratic caucuses.
According to the Topeka Capital-Journal on Tuesday, state leaders said Gov. Kathleen Sebelius' recent endorsement of Obama was key to a victory in Kansas. She has also reportedly cut a television commercial with the Illinois senator, which is supposed to run in Wichita.
"I think Obama will win tomorrow," said Lykins on Monday, noting that the Obama team had put 20 paid staffers in the state back in October, while Clinton only has two staffers. "We don't have the firepower that they have right now."
