NEWARK, Del. -- Chelsea Clinton believes this year's presidential election is the most important in her lifetime, and that her mom is just the kind of leader the country needs.
The daughter of New York senator Hillary Clinton and former president Bill Clinton visited the University of Delaware on Monday to campaign for her mother on the eve of Delaware's Super Tuesday primary.
The 27-year-old Clinton answered questions from students and others in a crowd of more than 300 people, showing a command of issues ranging from global warming to the war in Iraq.
Clinton's visit came just one day after her mother's Democratic primary rival, Illinois senator Barack Obama, drew a crowd estimated at 20 thousand people to a rally in downtown Wilmington.
While Obama has touted himself as the voice of change, Chelsea Clinton said her mother's work on behalf of children and in Congress is evidence that she offers both change and experience.
