Democratic Sens. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are in a virtual tie, and GOP Sen. John McCain has a six-point advantage over Mitt Romney in new polls released on Saturday ahead of Tuesday’s New Hampshire primaries.

McCain has doubled his support since December and leads Romney 35 percent to 29 percent in a post-Iowa caucus survey of likely GOP primary voters by the Concord, NH, Monitor. In a CNN/WMUR post-Iowa survey, McCain leads Romney 33 percent to 29 percent.

On the Democratic side, the race between Clinton and Obama is closer, with Obama holding a 34 percent to 33 percent lead in the Concord Monitor poll, while Clinton and Obama are tied with 33 percent in the CNN/WMUR poll. Former Sen. John Edwards is in third place in both polls.
