Surprise as George W Bush’s brother Marvin endorses Gary Johnson

Now that all hopes to see a third Bush sit in the Oval office are shattered, a dissenting member of the political dynasty has announced he’s backing third party candidate Gary Johnson.

Marvin Bush, the youngest of former President George H. W. Bush’s four sons, said on Wednesday he will be supporting Libertarian nominee Johnson and his running mate Bill Weld.

During an appearance on 106.7 The Fan’s The Sports Junkies on Wednesday, Bush — who supported his brother Jeb in the Republican primary — said he would not be voting for Hillary Clinton, whom he called “one of the most dishonest people that’s ever been in politics.”

He said: “Things like the commodity trading and Whitewater and Filegate and the email controversy today and all this stuff […] There’s a pattern of deception there that’s the reason her trust ratings are lower than almost any politician around.”
