Conservative radio host Laura Ingraham said Monday on “Special Report with Bret Baier” that by refusing to take part in Fox News’ Democratic debate Hillary Clinton is cementing Bernie Sander's narrative that the establishment isn't listening to the wishes of the people.
“I think it cements his pitch to the voters,” Ingraham said. “I think it probably helps him going into the platform crafting at the Democratic convention.”
While Ingraham believes it was the right decision for Clinton not to participate in the debate she stated that Sanders will be able continue his narrative that the election is rigged.
“He's targeting Debbie Wasserman Shultz and the entire democratic machine and now this just confirms his narrative that they don't want to even deal with the unwashed masses showing up by the tens of thousands at these Bernie Sanders rallies.”
