While Republican front-runner Donald Trump won decisively in Florida, but challenger Marco Rubio at least won the Latino voter.
Exit polls conducted by Fox New show Rubio edging Trump with Hispanic voters, capturing 40 percent of the Hispanic Republican vote, compared to Trump’s 38 percent. Fellow Latino, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz pulled in 15 percent, while Ohio Gov. John Kasich got only 2 percent of the Hispanic vote.
But Rubio virtually swept Cuban-American voters.
Rubio received 62 percent of the Cuban-American vote while Trump received 18 percent.
Donald Trump had another big Super Tuesday after big wins in Florida, North Carolina, Illinois, but was unable to sweep the board as Ohio Gov. John Kasich took home his home states’ 66 delegates.
Soon afterward, Rubio announced he was dropping out of the race.
