The soft-core porn actress who was featured in a Ted Cruz television ad that was later pulled from the airwaves has decided to endorse another candidate for president: Donald Trump.
Amy Lindsay, the star of films such as "Milf" and "Carnal Wishes," said that she likes the billionaire businessman’s policies and feels a certain connection with him.
“I like what he stands for,” she said, according to Politico. “I think people are really attacking him and lying about him, and I kind of know how that feels.”
She added: “He’s the front-runner but he’s also kind of – especially in this last week or so – become kind of an underdog," she added.
Lindsay, a Houston native who lives in Los Angeles, also said that the decision from the Cruz campaign did influence her choice of who she was going to support, but that she is generally unhappy with the way the Texas senator’s campaign is headed.
“I liked working on the Cruz ad,” she said. “I was educated on what Ted Cruz stood for and yeah, I haven’t really been happy with the way he’s been doing this recently.”
Lindsay appeared as one of seven people in a "Conservatives Anonymous" group-therapy session in the Cruz ad.
"Has anyone else here being lied to?" the group leader asks.
"Well, I voted for a guy who was a tea party hero on the campaign trail," a man replies, clearly referring to Rubio. "Then he went to D.C. and played patty-cake with Chuck Schumer and cut a deal on amnesty."
"Maybe you should vote for more than just a pretty face next time," Lindsay says.
Lindsay has in the past stressed that she never had sex on camera, has never appeared in X-rated films and has appeared in non-erotic films as well.
