South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley will endorse Marco Rubio Wednesday, three days before the South Carolina primary.
In a major endorsement, Nikki Haley will join Sen. Rubio at Chapin, S.C. rally Wednesday night, South Carolina's The State reports.
Haley gave a fiery State of the Union response speech in January that targeted Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump, as much as it targeted President Obama.
Haley joins the state's junior U.S. senator, Tim Scott, in endorsing Rubio. Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., has endorsed Jeb Bush.
Both Rubio and Bush lag behind Trump in the polls in South Carolina, however.
